The Hamazkayin “Lucy Tutunjian” Art Gallery was founded in 2009 to bring great art to the people of Lebanon and the region, to promote the works of artists with different backgrounds and styles, and to be an engaging meeting place for all art lovers.

Built with the generous support of Mr. and Mrs. Garbis and Lucy Tutunjian, the gallery aims to play a unique role in the Lebanese-Armenian community and Lebanon’s cultural landscape.

The new Beirut gallery is an impressive showplace for contemporary art, just like Galerie Tanit in Munich, that celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. It will be dedicated to a selection of established as well as emerging contemporary artists, both Lebanese and International, who share the purpose of the founder Naila Kettaneh Kunigk which is to create an environment for creation that should reflect upon the meaning of art today.

The gallery plans on bringing new artists from around the world and the larger space will provide the ability to present space related exhibitions, work with guest curators, and show part of the gallery’s collection; a space for film and videos is also planned.

Founded in 2009, Beirut Art Center (BAC) is a non-profit, free-of-charge contemporary art space. Situated in a two-story building in the capital of Lebanon, Beirut Art Centre has an exhibition space of 1500 square meters. As a driving force of contemporary art in Beirut, BAC holds many high-quality art exhibitions with a range of artistic forms, especially those of image and video. Local and international artists are regularly invited to participate in various events, such as workshops and concerts. Art on 56th Gallery is an independent visual art gallery in Beirut, Lebanon. It was founded by Noha Wadi Moharram

Founded in 1994 by Alice Mogabgab Karam, it evolved over the years into a leading platform on the Beirut artistic scene; but it also registered a marked presence on the Europe scene, through its multiple participations to Art Brussels, Art Paris, and FIAC; also through its private exhibits held in London year after year.
