Orfali Art Gallery

Established in 1993. Started as a family business by art collector Ina’am Orfali, the gallery displays works from all schools of art, exposing visitors to a broad range of paintings, sculptures and other forms of art. Selective in its choice of artists, Orfali brings together masterpieces from many fine Jordanian, Iraqi and other Arab artists. The gallery offers artists, critics, poets and musicians a wonderful opportunity to express themselves freely and exquisitely.

The Art Center offers customers classes in subjects such as drawing, ceramics, sculpture and graphics for both children and adults. In addition, the center opens a summer camp for children and teenagers. Lessons are taught by Jordanian and Iraqi artists, and students are exposed to an array of beautiful works, which all helps to foster an appreciation for the subject in addition to developing creative skills.With the belief that the arts are a gateway to a broader education, and that they have been shown to improve a child overall scholastic achievement, Orfali Art Center strives to nurture this potential and simply provide a medium by which people can indulge in their creativity.

A contemporary art gallery based in Amman, Jordan, Nabad has been exhibiting and providing artworks by emerging and established artists from Jordan since 2008. In addition to seeking to promote Jordanian art, Nabad also showcases a number of artists from the wider Arab world and beyond, with a view to cultivating intercultural dialogue among artists and with the public.

Zemack Contemporary Art (ZCA) aims to deliver a fresh perspective on contemporary art, created by Israeli and international artists.
Since its foundation in 2010, ZCA has had a notable impact on the Israeli art scene and is currently considered one of the leading galleries in Tel Aviv.

The gallery exhibits 5-6 solo shows a year and holds a tradition of special exhibitions such as Gallery Selection of Prominent Art Graduates and collaborations with established international galleries.

Va Space and Residency is an independent artist-run space born in the city of Isfahan in 2014. Va is an alternative space, away from the mainstream, to empower the local community of art and culture. Fostering creative thinking and collaborations, Va connects the local community to local and international artists, thinkers and cultural practitioners through residency programs, ‘wandering’ events, talks, lectures, workshops and exhibitions. Va brings individuals and disciplines together to promote new discourses and cross artistic practices in the context of the city. Va also participates in projects, sometimes collaborates with others, sometimes defines and initiates its own projects.

* The Persian conjunction “va” is synonymous with “and” in English; it is a word that enables an infinite number of other words, concepts, or thoughts to be joined. By itself, “va” has no identity; it acquires identity by connecting things together, creating dialog and discourse.

Siin Gallery is an amiable bright exhibition space in western Tehran; in fact, the one and only art gallery in the area: the building is attractive, covered with ivy and the architecture inside is fluid. Although it is not a long time since this gallery has started working under the current name, there is a long history behind it: Ms Saideh Lotfi, the owner and director, ran another gallery from 1990 to 1998 in exactly the same place.Though Lotfi lived abroad from 1998 till 2005, she stayed active and didn’t lose contact with the art scene in Iran; she participated in the curatorship of different exhibitions of works by Iranian artists, including two exhibitions in the Netherlands, The Hague, the Kunst Krijcht Gallery and Pulchri Studio, in 2001 & 2002.

The pleasant and dynamic space of Siin Gallery combined with its director’s experience and expertise will hopefully establish it as one of the best professional art galleries of Tehran.

In those years, many renowned artists and sculptors held their solo and group exhibitions in this space. The works of the artists of this generation will continue to be shown in Siin Gallery along the works of younger generations.
