Founded in 2007 by Igor Markin, ART4 was Moscow\u2019s first private museum of contemporary art to open in the city center. The museum houses an impressive collection of more than 1,000 works by major Russian artists such as Oleg Kulik, Vladislav Mamyshev Monroe, Ilya Kabakov and around 150 others. In December 2015 ART4 reinvented itself as \u201cthe museum that sells art\u201d and half a year later launched an online auction site for contemporary Russian art. Even if you\u2019re not interested in buying, the gallery is worth visiting: every month there is a new solo exhibition of one of the artists from its celebrated collection.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
