The Boushahri Gallery was opened by the Kuwaiti sculptor Jawad Boushahri in Salmiya in 1982.
The Gallery expanded since moving to new quarters in 1993.<\/p>\n

It was Mr. Boushahri’s desire to encourage local artists and create an awareness of fine arts in Kuwait.
The inaugural exhibition for the Gallery’s re-opening entitled Panorama of Modern Formative Art in Kuwait, included paintings, sculptures and ceramics of 47 Kuwaiti artists.<\/p>\n

As one of the oldest private art galleries in the Middle Eastern region, Boushahri Gallery has opened multiple avenues for rising local and internationally acclaimed artists.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
