On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, the Association of the Visual Arts in Taiwan (AVAT) is hosting an international forum entitled \u201cSynergy in Actions: The Resilience of Arts Organizations and Their Strategic Approaches.\u201d This initiative will explore the evolving landscape of non-profit visual arts organizations worldwide, reassess its position within the context, and revitalize international collaborations to foster a thriving arts ecosystem in the post-pandemic era.<\/span>

<\/span>\u201cSynergy in Actions\u201d is a five-year project. In its first phase, the project will focus on the fostering collaboration and exchange within Asian regions before extending the network to engage with non-profit arts organizations in Europe and North America. Through substantial exchange, the project explores the following agenda:<\/span>
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0(1) Understanding developmental trajectories and operational experiences in diverse environments and cultural backgrounds;<\/strong><\/div>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0(2) Exploring the public objectives and values of arts organizations;
<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0(3) Identifying commonalities and collaboration opportunities across different countries\u2019 experiences.<\/strong>
<\/strong><\/p>

In the 1st edition of the forum in 2024, AVAT invites Tiara Afriani, the Operational Manager at Cemeti \u2013 Institute for Art and Society<\/a> (Yogyakarta, Indonesia), and Ji Yoon Yang, the CEO of Alternative Space LOOP<\/a> (Seoul, Korea), to share their experiences and engage in dialogue with Taiwan\u2019s arts organizations. \u201cSynergy in Actions\u201d will be divided into a public forum and a closed-door meeting over a course of two days. Mandarin-English interpretation will be available.<\/p>

In the public forum, based on three stages \u2013 \u201cconstruction, growth, and innovation,\u201d Cemeti - Institute for Art and Society, Alternative Space LOOP, and AVAT, each established over 25 years ago, will share their developmental journeys, discuss the keys and challenges facing arts organizations in each stage, as well as their coping strategies concerning future developments.<\/p>

Marta Trotsiuk, President of the Ukrainian Gallerists Association<\/a> will join as an observer, offering her perspective on the discussions and sharing valuable insights gained from her interactions with Asian arts organizations.<\/p><\/article>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
